The Ministry of Tertiary Education and Skills Training (MTEST) has embarked on a new initiative, state of the art mobile Job and Career Coaches was launched on December 17th 2012 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA). This initiative is part of the Ministry’s mandate to become the prime enabler in workforce development in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Jobs and Career Coaches will provide a mobile medium to help students, graduates, new entrants into the world of work as well as those who are already in the mainstream workforce; this medium will provide assistance through sound counseling and up to date advice to everyone in terms of job placement, career enhancement, interviewing techniques as well as a myriad of other services such as drop-off box for resumes; job search; Applications for Tertiary and Technical Educational Institutions, on-line and off-line services offered.
The Jobs and Career Coach will be fully equipped with with computers and internet access. The coaches will be easily accessible to all citizens of Trinidad and Tobago at urban and meridian locations. Our staffs are experts in terms of career coaching and will be at your door meeting members of the public and making careers matter.
